Because of such fluctuations, Cryptocurrency may gain or lose value at any time. Cryptocurrency may be subject to large swings in value and may even become absolutely worthless. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance. Cryptocurrency trading has special risks not generally shared with official currencies, goods or commodities in a market. Unlike most currencies, which are backed by governments or other legal entities, or commodities such as gold or silver, Cryptocurrency is a unique kind of assets which may not have a centralised issuer or backer.

– Given the nature of Cryptocurrencies and their underlying technologies, there are a number of intrinsic risks, including but not limited to: (i) faults, defects, hacks, errors, protocol failures or unforeseen circumstances in relation to a Cryptocurrency or the technologies or economic systems on which the Cryptocurrency relies; (ii) transactions in Cryptocurrencies being irreversible, which may result in fraudulent or accidental transactions being irrecoverable; (iii) technological development leading to the obsolescence of Cryptocurrencies; (iv) delays causing a transaction not to be settled on the scheduled delivery date; or (v) attacks on the protocol or technologies on which a Cryptocurrency depends, including but not limited to distributed denial of service, phishing, double spending, majority-mining, consensus-based or other mining attacks, forks or spoofing.
